kenna designed . . . the “raining light”
This fixture was inspired by how rain looks like when it falls from clouds. It’s made out of laser cut acrylic with a reflective mirror film layered on top of it. This allows the light to reflect on the inside before flowing down among the beads. This is definitely a beginning prototype of something that I would produce very differently if I had it mass manufactured with machines or had different resources here at school. However, for working with wiring and lighting for the first time I’m very happy with how it turned out and could see myself elaborating on this idea in the future by possibly adding movement or making it in a variety of shapes ☺️💡
